An account of a singular case of obstructed deglutition.Mem. med. Soc. Lond., 2, 275-86, 1794.Bayford reported a a fatal case of "obstructed deglutition" caused by compression of the oesophagus by an aberrant right subclavian artery. This he called Dysphagia lusoria.
