Prefazione di Giorgio Celli.Mantua, 1802.The text and accompanying plates reported the observations and conclusions of a deputation of the medico-surgical class of the Accademia Virgiliana, sent to determine on anatomical grounds the sex of twenty-two-year-old Giacoma Foroni, living since baptism as a girl and engaged to be married.
