Diabetes mellitus nach Pankreasextirpation.

Minkowski produced experimental diabetes by removing the pancreas of a dog. This proof of the role of the pancreas in diabetes was of the first importance; previous experiments on similar lines had attracted attention. Partial English translation in No. 2241.
